It just wasn't a rich story. I'm glad I finished the series, but I can't really give it a very good rating. May 05, Taylor H. I was really hoping to get the answers I wanted in Savage , and boy did I! I constantly had to stop myself from flipping to the last page! Through sheer force of will I was able to make it to the end without giving in and taking a After finishing Hot Blooded , I had a TON of questions that I desperately needed answers to.
Through sheer force of will I was able to make it to the end without giving in and taking a peek! I was literally on the edge of my seat for the last half of the book! Jun 03, Allison rated it really liked it. This series had twists and turns in a good way and this book was no exception. I will say that the author s at least tried to offer a plausible explanation to the question I was asking myself throughout the series. I can't say I know how I feel about it but at least there was one. I was left feeling pretty good with how the story ended so this book series was a win for me.
I don't really like writing reviews because I never really know what to say. I did like this series and I'll end with th This series had twists and turns in a good way and this book was no exception. I did like this series and I'll end with that. I would love to find out what happened to "uncle" and how the 2 packs managed to merge, and maybe a possible love for Jesse and Cordelia?
Oct 24, Allison rated it it was amazing. Just finished this morning and cried my eyes out my heart hurts! Lol wow I got extremely attached to a character and what happened made me ball my eyes out. So didn't end the way I wanted at all but all and all I still loved it and wanted more. Sep 17, Danielle rated it really liked it Shelves: books-i-own.
A satisfying end to a satisfying story :. Jan 22, Melissa rated it it was amazing. Read all 3 books in 4 days!!! May 31, Jasmine rated it it was amazing. Wonderful Book to read!! Jun 12, Jessica Fischer rated it it was amazing. I am very pleased with this series. Feb 11, Nora rated it it was amazing Shelves: young-adult , urban-fantasy , pub. So much for sleep. Okay, so after a very long time of trying to find this book I finally had to barrow it from a library. I still can't get over that.
So anyways. After just finishing it not even five minutes ago. I had to get on here and type up my review while everything's still fresh in my mind. So here it goes. First off. Can I start this off by saying Holy freaking crap! Everything that you thought you knew and thought you could predict and thought you Okay, so after a very long time of trying to find this book I finally had to barrow it from a library. Everything that you thought you knew and thought you could predict and thought you where right..
Well sorry to break it to ya. But your most likely not. I tried so many times to predict who the Hell Hound is and every time that I thought I'd gotten it right something else would come up and cause me to question it. And even if you think you have it all figured out, well you don't. This is one book-- series actually. That kept me guessing through out the whole thing. And I loved it. Jack from the Inner Wolf center place Although it does explain why her grandfather hates him with such a passion.
Justin- Justin - Justin What can I say about you? Well I guess there's just one thing. For all of you that love Justin and are on his team or whatever you wanna call it. And even the one's that love Trick.
That's all you get on Justin. Who am I kidding??? I want to rant! I still can't get over it that he was the one that bit her in. That is just mind blowing. And how he was able to basically control the whole thing. The guy is an evil guises! It- He-- gezz oh mighty!
Just read it! You'll understand what I'm getting at. I love Trick. I've loved him through out all three books. Even when the things he did didn't make a whole lot of sense to me and Kat got mad at him for things. I still loved him. And trust me. You think Trick is a human? You better think twice. Or three times. Same goes for Ed. Think he's just her grandfather?
The Wolf Hunt
A Normal Human like everyone else? Well- think again. He's the freaking Hell Hound! And Trick is his apprentice. I do have to say though, I did suspect Trick of being the Hell Hound a couple times but never actually thought I was right. Seeing as he seemed so human like all the time. There's not much to say on Cor. Seeing as yes, she did play a part in all of this but it wasn't a overly huge part. But I still love her. So I won't say too much about her. Sense I can't really come up with anything to say about her right now.
Kaitlyn-- well for starters she gained control of the pack. Along with a whole lot of other things along the way that finally got her to that point. There was a lot of fighting in this one, and don't think for a minute that everyone makes it out alive and unhurt. Seeing as they don't.

But I wont say who dies and who lives. Seeing as that wouldn't be fair to anyone. Lets see Well I loved it. A lot. Seeing as then this would look like a novel. And I know if your looking at this it's because your thinking about reading this, or your fallowing my reviews. Or both. And you don't want to read a long novel- like review about a book that your hopefully going to read yourself. So I'll spare you that. And if you do want to read it, I'd suggest either borrowing it from a library if they have it or ordering it from another.
Or if you wanna buy it, go online to either Amazon or some other site like that. There's no point looking in stores. I've tried finding it countless times at stores. None carry it. Or at least none that I've been too. Just as a heads up. Hope you decide to check this out, and read it after you've read the first two or else it wont make sense at all.
Seeing as it really is worth the read, and worth the wait in finding it. Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguie's Savage is the conclusion to the Wolf Springs Chronicles--and boy was it hard finding copies of these last two. Not sure what happened there! So given that, my memory of the last one was just as fuzzy as it was when I was reading that one and trying to remember the first book, but luckily, the details that were important get brought up and things ran smoothly after that!

We ended last time with a battle between Fenner and Gaudin where the Gaudins cheated and put silver into the water and air, killing most of the Fenners.
Katelyn, due to her immunity to silver, survives as do some of her pack members. But she runs into a bit of trouble when she comes face to face with the Hellhound! In the aftermath, Katelyn meets a member of the Hounds of God, another group of werewolves dedicated to God and fighting the demons of hell. Basically, they are like a werewolf police force and they want to keep the peace between weres, but if the weres are not accommodating, then the Hounds will kill them all.
The existence of werewolves is a vital secret and must be kept from humans and with all the fighting the Fenners and Gaudins do, humans are bound to learn things that should be kept secret. Katelyn has a very short time limit to end the feuding between the packs or else all of them will die. Savage was quite an exciting read! There was lots of action and oh so many secrets finally get revealed. And of course there is still the romance among Katelyn, Trick and Justin.
Yup, another love triangle. If memory serves, this one was definitely hard for me to choose my "team"! I think I actually continued to go back and forth. But before I'm even halfway through, I think I was pretty much set on Trick! The pacing to this one was incredible! I hadn't expected it to be such a fast paced read what with the challenges Katelyn was facing, but it moved along fairly quick and before I knew it, it was all over!
I can't get into all the details, but I have to say I loved that every secret, every mystery we've had from the beginning gets revealed! Like who bit Katelyn, the mystery of the Hellhound, who was killing all the people around town and even tying back to the mystery of Katelyn's father's death! It was freaking awesome! I mean the answers were just rolling off the pages and it's always so exciting when that happens.
I loved the shock factor, because I was shocked several times over with this one! Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguie are without a doubt one of my most favorite author duos! In fact, they were my first author duo wayyyyy back when the Wicked series first published back in Which was another of my treasured Paranormal YA gems that I found before the genre took off! And let me tell you, waiting seven years to the conclusion to that series about killed me too!
Glad I didn't have that issue with this series! If you're looking for a Paranormal YA series with werewolves and a really good mystery element, this is the trilogy for you! All the books were pretty fast paced, from what I can recall and are enjoyable reads through and through! My only complaint is my lack of memory and trying to track these books down in order to read them! Overall Rating 4. Jul 31, Em rated it it was ok. I was so looking forward to this book. The mystery would be solved and everything will be revealed.
I felt the build up going through the first two books, but then it seems like everything was just blah Everything seemed to be rushed when the mystery was finally solved. I was just like "oh I just think this book really let the first two books down, all that build up was for nothing. I have to admit that the reason why I was hooked onto the series was because of the mystery. I really wanted to know who the killer was and the mystery behind the Hellhound.
To be honest I wasn't that shocked just disappointed. It just seemed like the author ran out of characters so just pinned the crime on him. Why wasn't there any hints in his character on what type of person he really was? Events on LibraryThing Local. Mysterious Galaxy , Saturday, May 23, at 2pm. Unlike previous Looney Tunes -related shows, Loonatics Unleashed has a darker tone and takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting, as well as multiple minor story arcs.
The events of Loonatics Unleashed occur in the year , the year that a meteor strikes the fictional city-planet of Acmetropolis, knocking it completely off its original axis. Instead of destroying the planet, the meteor crashes in a waterfront, releasing waves of supernatural energies causing some of the planet's citizens' genetic codes to be severely altered, granting them special abilities and strengths.
A mysterious and powerful woman named Zadavia calls upon six teenagers of the affected residents to form a team of superheroes. She becomes their commander, dispatching them for the purpose of combating any and all threats to Acmetropolis and its citizens. The newly formed team is known as the Loonatics and reside on the th floor of a large tower.
These characters are the descendants of the classic Looney Tunes characters, according to multiple press releases and official sources. Descendants of other Looney Tunes are unverified, though they can be inferred in certain situations. It is later revealed that Zadavia is in fact an alien and had used her powers to knock the meteor slightly off-course, preventing the total destruction of the planet. It is also revealed that a mysterious figure, later revealed to be Zadavia's older brother named Optimatus, caused the meteor to strike Acmetropolis in an attempt to destroy his sister.
In the second season, the show takes on a lighter tone and many more descendants of other Looney Tunes characters are introduced, the majority of which only appear once in the series. The super villain characters from the previous season are rarely mentioned or rarely appear. Zadavia becomes a less mysterious figure and regularly participates with the Loonatics in their adventures. Two more aliens from Zadavia's home planet are also introduced, Deuce and Keyboard Man. In the season's finale, the Loonatics are temporarily joined by Sylth Vester, and Optimatus is replaced by Deuce as the series arch-villain.
The weapons and gear used by the Loonatics are usually made by Tech E. They are referred to as "the toys" by Ace, despite Tech's insistence that they are "hand-crafted precision alloy instruments. Zadavia explains the history of herself and Optimatus to the Loonatics. Optimatus betrays Massive, Mastermind, Sypher, and Weathervane, sending them back to Acmetropolis as he activates a wormhole to suck the city-planet up whole.
Now knowing the secret of his past and his relation to Zadavia, the Loonatics head for Optimatus' base of operations to defeat him and his "Optiforce s " once and for all! Now that Optimatus is free, he, alongside General Deuce and Rupes Oberon, plan to use the planet Blanc's wormhole generator to take over the universe. Blanc is said to be at the center of the universe, and that every point in the universe can be instantly traveled to with ease from it.
The Royal Tweetums contacts the Loonatics for help. It turns out that the Tweetums evaded capture. The Loonatics must find him before Optimatus does, but not without help from an old enemy.
