As a lover of amphibians, I was excited that this book presented frogs in a real-life context without anthropomorphizing the characters. Fun, colorful, and accurate, this children's book teaches young people about the real noises frogs make while still being entertaining. The frogs are drawn accurately and in the back there is even a glossary with facts on the frogs. I look forward to sharing this book--and hopefully inspiri I received this lovely children's book through the First Reads contest.

What child can resist a story about frogs, this clever book has many facets to it, a sing-along as in the title, a cute story, and interesting facts about frogs. This book is lots of fun, filled as it is with the various sounds made by frogs. From the sounds of a peeper to the occasional "meep meep meep" unpaged of a tree frog, the author makes it clear just how noisy frogs can be. Back matter reveals additional facts about the various frogs highighted in the book.
