A story of love and loss throughout the year, the production is based on traditional folk songs and tales and includes such toe-tapping favourites as My Bonny Lad, Whittingham Fair, John Barleycorn and The Oak and The Ash. The senior band members from Cream Tees will also play their own composition Rooted — A Teesdale Suite, while everyone in the band will perform Tunes from Teeside.
This is the first time that all the groups have come together to sing in one venue, and we are delighted to be able to stage the performance in Darlington. They are now looking forward to meeting the members of the other youth ensembles and to collaborating with the highly-regarded Cream Tees.
